Here, please take my coat
to keep the cold at bay;
snuggle up with with hat and scarf
then go outside to play.
By hook or crook you may catch me
to fleece me of my riches
for I am found in spaces wide,
in valleys and in ditches.
Perhaps you might enjoy a stew
a hot curry or a roast,
if you do decide on one of these
then I will be but toast!

Bjorn from dVerse poets has challenged us to write a 'riddle' poem. A fun prompt indeed!
