The Bride ...

A vanilla sort of girl,

a plain Jane they said,

nothing to see here.

Yet inside this dear heart,

mustard seeds of faith

flourished and grew.

A mural of flavour

also oiled her spirit,

with Divine favour

falling gently upon her.

Vanilla? Not at all!

Mulling spices infused

with rich saffron

made sure of that.

A bride-to-be waiting

for her Lover to come.....
