Todays challenge from Sarah at dVerse poets is to write a poem using one [or more] of the paint colours she has suggested. The paint colour may be used in the title, or within the poem. I have chosen the colour 'Tea with Florence'. This poem comes from a children's series I wrote some time ago.
Flippity, floopity, fluppity,
Florence was feeling quite uppity;
with her pinkie poked out
and her lips in a pout,
she sipped her afternoon cuppity.....
