Within the dormiveglia, dreams swirl,
fighting to be remembered.
The odd scintilla flashes insight,
yet they too are lost to the dawn light.
No matter, for it's a new day!
A mug of coffee gently cupped
brings the freshly brewed merak...
Mish at dverse has given us a challenge to pen a poem which is to include at least three new and/or unusual words. From a list that Mish provided I chose the following:
scintilla [n] a tiny, brilliant flash or spark; a small thing; a barely visible trace.
dormiveglia [n] the space that stretches between sleeping and waking.
merak [n] the feeling of oneness with the universe that comes from the simplest pleasures.
