N.B. This is entirely fictional!
Long shadows danced upon my face
gently wiping away the years
long gone
yet I remembered the best bits
of my life with much gratitude,
thankful
that my memory served me well
bringing delight to myself and
others.
With broad smiles and laughter I spoke
of the times where I had stood on
the stage
entertaining people from all
walks of life happy in my quest
to please
the crowds that flocked to see and hear
this wonderful story teller
of note.
So just who was this narrator,
this woman who freely filled hearts
with joy?
A game-changer of that era,
as the first female comedic
stand-up.....

Grace [dVerse poets] here, to showcase another invented verse form, synchronicity. This poetry form is written in the first person revealing accidental yet seemingly synchronized events
The definition of synchronicity is the state or fact of being synchronous or simultaneous; synchronism. Coincidence of events that seem to be meaningfully related.
As a poetry form, this consists of eight three-line stanzas in a syllable pattern of 8/8/2. This poetry type has no rhyme and is written in the first person with a twist. The twist is to be revealed within the last two stanzas. This form was created by Debra Gundy.

[I'm not sure if I have done this correctly as this poetry form is new to me.]
